This isn't a reissue, however it still injects the spirit of shred straight into music, and features a foundation of a high-quality alder body, this time finished in a stealthy Intruder Black Satin finish. A one-piece hard maple neck with a contrasting walnut skunk stripe features the legendary Kramer K-Speed SlimTaper "C" profile for lightning-fast playing, topped with a maple fingerboard featuring 22 frets and dot inlays.
Tonally, a searing Kramer USA Eruption humbucker in the bridge position, designed by the legendary Jim DeCola, lays down a true 80s-inspired hot-rodded sound. This humbucker in controlled with a master volume knob featuring a push/pull series/parallel switch for added versatility.
From the retro-style knurled knobs to the matching "stinger" headstock, the Kramer The 84 boasts details that capture the essence of an era, and includes a high quality gigbag.
