About: After a bleak start to the year owing to frosts in spring, the 1998 vintage was saved by an exceptionally long and warm summer in the Rhône Valley. This Eau-de-vie is made from the distillation of M. Chapoutier Chateauneuf-du-Pape marcs (100% Grenache) from the 1998 vintage in their traditional alembic column still which is made entirely from copper. It was then aged in 228-litre French oak barrels for 20 years.

These were ok comfortable. Would have preferred at the price point to be a little more comfortable. For being a wide size, the shoe was rather tight on my feet. Quality is ok. It passed for the wedding. Would probably have taken more time to pick something different if I had the ability to. This was a last minute purchase.
