The unit features a 1/4" output jack with a switchable FX/Thru mode, enabling direct connection to amplifiers or pedalboards either post- or pre-processing—ideal for blending digital and analog setups. A dedicated 1/8" headphone output with its own preamp and level control provides latency-free monitoring. On Windows, a custom ASIO driver ensures low-latency, high-performance integration.
Included are AmpliTube 5 SE and TONEX SE software suites for Mac/PC, plus the ability to unlock full features in the iOS version of AmpliTube. Physically, the iRig HD 2 ships with a mic stand clip and Velcro strip for mounting flexibility, making it a fully giggable solution that fits in your front pocket.
