Plug the battery backup UPS into an available L6-20R (Receptacle, 208-240 Volts, 20 Amps) wall socket, then plug the Sakura Tissue-Tek Xpress x120 into the provided NEMA L6-20R (Receptacle, 200 Volts) on the back of the battery backup UPS, turn it on, and forget about it.

If utility power is lost while the Sakura Tissue-Tek Xpress x120 is on and connected to the battery backup UPS, the instrument will continue to operate as if power was never lost until either power is restored or battery power is depleted (whichever occurs first). The built in power conditioning function ensures that voltage sags or surges will not damage the power supply of the attached instrument.

 *Note: The 6 kVA model now has 9 amp hour batteries installed instead pf the standard 7 amp hour batteries. This increases battery capacity and backup time by approximately 22%.
