The EvoHT2 comes preloaded with proven tunes designed specifically for towing, daily driving, fuel economy, and all-out performance, so you can select the calibration that best fits your needs. Just flash the ECM, unplug the device, and store it away, it’s that simple. To enable tuning on the latest L5P Duramax platform, the Edge Locksmith tool is required (included) to unlock the factory ECM and TCM. Once unlocked, the EvoHT2 gives you access to safe, emissions-compliant power gains that improve throttle response, drivability, and pulling strength. Whether you’re towing heavy trailers, commuting every day, or just want a stronger, more efficient truck, the EvoHT2 provides results you can feel immediately. Beyond performance, the EvoHT2 also serves as a diagnostic tool, allowing you to quickly read and clear DTCs without an expensive shop visit. Built on Edge Products’ 20+ years of tuning expertise, the EvoHT2 is the perfect solution for Duramax owners who want reliable power, simple installation, and proven performance in an affordable handheld device. A PC and our downloadable Update Agent software will be required in order to complete this tune process **Device can unlock and tune only one vehicle. Other than that, the durability seems good, and it looks and feels like you would expect, but as stated, the plastic is flimsy and flutters around. Seems fairly mold resistant vs other liners I've used from the store (like cheaper Walmart ones etc).
