SOLD OUT! We're sorry, this title is sold out.

The Chicago Cellar Boys have been electrifying audiences in Chicago and beyond since 2017 with raw, invigorating "hot" jazz of the 1920s -- think King Oliver, Bix Beiderbecke, Frank Teschemacher, Clarence Williams, Bennie Moten, and Jimmie Noone. The GOOD stuff. The quintet includes seasoned professionals who have toured and recorded with Leon Redbone and Vince Giordano and been featured in the hit HBO series Boardwalk Empire.

This limited edition 78 rpm vinyl record features four exclusive performances made just for this EP. You will not find them on any other record or CD. "Happy Feet" hits the ground running; a real "stomper" with plenty of hot solos. "Dispossessin' Me" is a Clarence Williams tune that showcases Paul Asaro's plaintive vocal and bluesy stride piano. "Hello! Beautiful!" is a delightful pop tune of 1930, played in sprightly fashion in what Andy Schumm calls "tempo di Grey Gull." The EP closes with a rousing rendition of "I've Found a New Baby" that breathes new life and excitement into this tried-and-true favorite. All four are full-length performances; we have taken advantage of microgroove's finer threading to fit more than seven minutes of crisp, hi-fi sound on each side of this 10-inch 78.

The audiophile quality of the recording is a marvel in itself; this record would make an excellent demonstration disc for any high-end system with a turntable capable of playing a stereo, microgroove 78 rpm record.

Personnel: Andy Schumm (cornet, clarinet, tenor saxophone); John Otto (clarinet, alto saxophone); Paul Asaro (piano, vocals); John Donatowicz (banjo, guitar); Dave Bock (tuba).

Both sides were recorded in Racine, Wisconsin on March 9, 2019.

Limited edition pressing of 550 copies.

Note: This is a stereo, microgroove, 10-inch vinyl record meant to be played at 78 RPM. It is compatible with all modern turntables (post-1950s) fitted with a stereo cartridge and capable of spinning at 78 RPM. For best results, we strongly recommend a cartridge capable of tracking at 3-4 grams. Rugged cartridges designed for DJ use (like the Stanton 500, Shure M44-7, or Ortofon VNL) work better than delicate, high-end "audiophile" cartridges. Use an ordinary LP stylus; no special stylus is required. This record should NOT be played on vintage "wind-up" machines with steel needles. For your convenience, a downloadable MP3 version of the record will be provided upon checkout.

Super wide
Size: 13 Little Kid, Color: Taupe
They are oddly very wide. Great for kids with wide chunky feet but for us it was not cute

Solid Kids Sandals, Overpriced Like Most Kids Shoes 🌞
Size: 11 Little Kid, Color: Brown, Size: 11 Little Kid, Color: Brown
My son hasn’t worn these yet since it’s December in Indiana and sandals + snow obviously don’t mix. 😂 So this review is based on first impressions rather than long term wear. That said, these seem wider than a lot of typical kids’ sandals, which I REALLY appreciate since we tend to have wider feet in our family. #hobbitfeet The quality feels pretty decent overall. They’re described as lightweight, and while they’re not insanely lightweight, they do have enough weight to feel semi-sturdy and not flimsy or cheap. I like the style and color, and I think they’ll work well for my son once warmer weather hits. My main complaint is the price. At just under $24 at the time of this review, it feels a little high for kids’ sandals and for what these are. I really feel like $20 MAX would make more sense. Kids shoes are almost always priced like adult shoes, even though they clearly use less material, and that’s hard for me to understand and wrap my mind around. Overall, these seem solid for daily wear, I just wish the price was a bit more reasonable and affordable.
