The ostrich egg has a subtly dimpled, pebbled surface, reminiscent of fine porcelain with a faint, natural sheen. Slightly uneven, it carries small crater-like markings that give it a tactile, organic quality. When lit from within, the shell becomes softly translucent, allowing light to diffuse through the material.
