Matching the forward-thinking design choices of modern Martins with the great acoustic tones of Martin's past, the Road Series D-10E Retro Sapele is certainly something to check out. This Road Series starts with a Martin D-14 Fret dreadnought body made entirely of sapele. A rich and resonant tonal profile projects from this classic Martin body with a satin finish and 5/16" scalloped spruce braces lined up in an X-Brace pattern enhancing volume and tonal complexity.

In the fretting hand, this Road Series drops in a select hardwood neck in a Martin Performing Artist profile with a High Performance taper. Moving smoothly from higher to lower registers, this neck is easy to pick up and hard to put down. A select hardwood fingerboard lined with twenty Martin frets offers a comfortable fretting experience with faux Mother of Pearl Diamonds & Squares Short inlays for that added Martin visual flourish.
