Strong and Lightweight
Pressurised with 10,000 tonnes of force ensures this forged wheel is as strong as possible, backed up with a lifetime structural warranty with Titan 7.
All regions of the Titan 7 T-M20 are subjected to extra machining to carefully remove any excess weight, at no detriment to the overall strength and integrity of the wheel.
Eagle-eyes will notice the 'I-beam' construction on each spoke, which are specially located and includes additional ribbing for optimal strength.
What Are 'Forged' Wheels?
Each Titan 7 wheel starts out life as a solid cylinder of aircraft grade 6061 aluminium. The aluminium is then pressurised to 10,000 tonnes to shape the wheel. This pressure not only improves the grain structure and overall properties of the aluminium, it also ensures no porosity in the wheel.
A wheel that is not porous is much stronger than your regular cast or flow-formed wheels, which run the risk of potential porosity and possible cracking under track conditions.
