NeoFitoroid BioOintment is made with plant-based molecular complexes that soothe and protect the anorectal mucosa and is used to counteract the ailments (pain, stinging and itching), irritation and inflammation that accompany haemorrhoids.

INSTRUCTIONS:
NeoFitoroid BioOintment is indicated for the treatment of (internal and external) haemorrhoids and for the accompanying symptoms such as pain, stinging, and anal and perianal itching. Can be used even when anal fissures are present.
NeoFitoroid BioOintment can also be used in prevention and in all cases that may result in irritation and/or congestion of the anal and perianal area (constipation, diarrhoea, and an incorrect diet and lifestyle). NeoFitoroid BioOintment is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

HOW IT WORKS:
The beneficial effect of NeoFitoroid is provided by Helydol®, a lyophilized extract consisting of the purified lipophilic fraction of a specific selection of Helichrysum that, enriched with Aloe, Ruscus, vegetable oils and essential oils, soothes the irritation, protecting the mucosa and helping it to return to normal through 3 mechanisms of action:

1. Mucoadhesive: adheres to the mucosa, forming a protective film and protecting it against contact with irritants;
2. Lubricant: reduces the friction created by faeces, thereby guarding against irritation and perianal congestion;
3. Antioxidant: protects the mucosa from free radicals.

In addition, NeoFitoroid creates an environment that is unfavourable for the growth of microorganisms,producing a further protective effect and reducing itching. Its refreshing properties offer rapid relief from the discomfort.
NeoFitoroid does not contain corticosteroids or anaesthetics and, thanks to its mechanism of action, does not dry out the mucosa.

Directions for use

For external application, apply and massage gently over the anal and perianal region. For internal application, screw the rectal cannula onto the tube. Apply a sufficient quantity of the ointment to cover the affected area. Use the product after emptying the bowel and washing the anal and perianal area carefully and gently. To prevent irritation caused by friction, the treatment can be applied before emptying the bowel. In any event, the product should be applied after evacuation as well.
After use, unscrew the cannula, clean it thoroughly with warm water and soap and close the tube of ointment. Application may be repeated multiple times a day, including at short intervals, and for prolonger periods of time.

Warnings

Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity or allergy to one or more components. In the event that symptoms don't improve, seek medical advice.
Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date applies when the product is intact and stored properly.
