Dinan has heard your inquiries and is pleased to offer an intake for the B58 powered 'G' chassis cars of the 5/6/7/8 and X series. 
 
Like its smaller bodied 'G' chassis siblings, the Dinan carbon fiber intake for the bigger B58 vehicles utilizes a semi-open design that incorporates multiple auditory ports on a revised lid, so induction sounds of the turbo are more evident. Beyond the additional sound openings employed in the new design, the immense resonator assembly used in the stock setup to reduce unwanted turbo sounds is also eliminated with the Dinan system. Together, these elements allow the engine to nearly achieve its full sound potential but when paired with the optional turbo inlet (and fit kit) the full intake tract to the turbo is effectively replaced for further audio enhancement.

While sound is undoubtedly important for a large swath of consumers, performance enhancements are equally as important to others. Common to all Dinan intake design, improvements upon the factory design by increasing flow via a larger airbox and filter element were made. These standard adjustments improv throttle response (and acceleration) and lessen the strain on the turbocharger for maximum efficiency. While box and filter enlargement and redesign are major factors in ultimately producing a more potent intake, they are not the only variables in creating a more efficient design either. The resonator assembly that limited auditory enjoyment also created a more turbulent airflow path by introducing alternative stunted pathways. The Dinan carbon fiber intake tube eliminates these flow disruptions with a smoother, direct flow path for maximum potential efficiency and an overall 20% greater flow when compared to stock. With these flow and efficiency improvements also comes greater power, particularly off the line, culminating in maximum gains of +7 WHP & +12 lb-ft at 2500 RPM on a completely stock vehicle.
X3/X4 M40i FITMENT: D760-0068 is ONLY compatible with the 2018-2019 model years for the X3 & X4 M40i. In 2020 the air box changed to a different configuration which affects fitment of the Dinan intake. INLET NOTICE: For B58 'G' chassis 5/6/7/8/X owners that wish to run the Dinan Turbo Inlet (D760-0061) for maximum sound, the appropriate Dinan Intake (D760-0068) as well as the associated Inlet Fit Kit (D763-0100) are REQUIRED. The Dinan Turbo Inlet will NOT mate with the factory intake system.

NOTE: For B58 'G' chassis 5/6/7/8/X owners that wish to run the Dinan Turbo Inlet (D760-0061) for maximum sound, the appropriate Dinan Intake (D760-0068) as well as the associated Inlet Fit Kit (D763-0100) are REQUIRED. The Dinan Turbo Inlet will NOT mate with the factory intake system.

    The Dinan Intake System dramatically out performs the factory intake and improves upon the stock closed box design with our own semi-open one. The Dinan Intake System is at least 20% less restrictive compared to the factory intake.. By allowing the engine to breathe, the intake system lowers the intake air temperature, and allows for performance gains upwards of 8 WHP on a completely stock vehicle.

Inspection on my car due the end of January! My check engine light was coming on so I checked with a code reader & found it was a P0420. Read about the Catalytic Converter System possibly being in need of replacement or perhaps clogged. I am a woman, and know next to ZERO about cars, but I can read. Did investigate and found that the replacement of a Catalytic Converter system is mad expensive- also found this Moly Cleaner to add to gas tank. I'm not going to lie; I was nervous as I have a Kia Rio 2014 that has a very small gas tank and gets great gas mileage. In reading the consensus seemed to be to add to 1/4 tank of gas and drive fast for good periods of time to blow out the clog (if it was a clog). Did I mention I live in NYC and driving for long periods of time at high speeds can be a problem because of terrible traffic. Anyhow, this Saturday I poured the can into my 1/2 filled tank and hit a parkway near my home early morning. I did drive for 45 miles sometimes at 80mph then 60mph but tried to do it for a good few minutes at a time without getting pulled over. Checked my reader again, and it was not quite ready but the engine light did stay off. Next day, drove to work, stuck in traffic somewhat & never made it over 20mph & checked my reader again- all good to go for inspection. Went last night- my car PASSED and got that sticker in my window- so I am good for another year. The BEST money I have spent all year. Thank you for carrying this product! Saved me thousands! DONT HESITATE TO USE THIS. The hardest part for me was removing the cap on the can!

Seemed to work as well as or better than some more expensive catalytic converter cleaners. I put it in while at 1/3 tank and my Check Engine light went out almost immediately once I started driving. My Tundra has almost 230,000 miles and still runs great but was getting a little harder to start after I switched from full synthetic oil to conventional. I’ll never do that again and immediately switched back but the damage was done. Check engine light came on and I had to crank longer to get it started.
