PROtect tapes are a broad range of protective tapes for racing yachts and dinghies. All products have been engineered by polymer and adhesive specialists supported by professional sailors to provide effective solutions to chafing, abrasion, scratches, ageing and wear.
The PROtect Laser Kit contains a Mast Disk made from 1mm thick UHMWPE (Teflon) to prevent wear in your mast step. It also contains a selection of Chafe tapes (see listing below) for snug fit of top and bottom mast sections, deck abrasion from tiller, outhaul and centre board.
Chafe tapes are pressure sensitive tape using extremely high molecular weight polyethelene film with an aggresive acrylic adhesive. It has an very low coefficient of friction, is self lubricating and highly resistant to abrasion (15 times more resistant that carbon steel)!
What this all provides is the ability to keep your Laser in "as new" condition forever, keeping its re-sell value and also providing better performance of parts such as mast sections, outhaul and the centreboard. Go on, give your boat a treat!!!

Drill bits not sharp
Size: 9 Holes
Just used the shelf pin hole jig for the first time. Seams to be a decent product. The failure with this product is the all too Repetitive China Factor. As everything they make to be sold in America has that inherent built-in factor for failure. It starts with the drill bit. Not sharp at all wich causes you to add more pressure than is needed, which causes the depth collar to slide on the drill bit, because it is made of cheap metal. Be very careful. After about 8-10 holes check your depth.

Great Value, Compact, & Reliable Mous

The Amazon Basics 2.4Ghz mouse works well right out of the box. I really appreciate its compact size, as it doesn’t take up much space on a mouse pad or flat surface—great if you’re working in a limited area. Its ergonomic design also feels comfortable under the hand. Overall, I think it offers good value for the money, and it’s very easy to set up and use. So far, the battery life has been solid—I’ve used it for three months and it’s still going strong. I put in Amazon Basics battery in this mouse, and surprisingly it lasting a long time.

A Simple, Effective, and Inexpensive Device

I have tried many variations of the standard computer mouse over the years. You probably have too. From weird angles, extra buttons in the scroll, funny side buttons that only make you go backwards on your web browser...Sometimes, you just want a point, click, scroll...and that's it.
Pros:
- This mouse delivers on simplicity. It doesn't have fancy advanced features. This basically functions as a point and click. It has a left and right hand button to do those old fashioned right and left button tasks. It has a basic scroll button. It's low tech features, but quality built for those features that it has.
- It seems to work on most surfaces without a mouse pad.
- Cost is ridiculously low. It's almost so low that you question its quality. In this case - it's Amazon. Amazon has really delivered on their Amazon Basics division. This falls neatly into that category of awesome but inexpensive Amazon Basics stuff.
- Connected within a second to my computer (Mac). I don't see any connectivity issues. I didn't have to download drivers at all.
Cons
- I haven't used it long term yet so if there is a break down, or the battery life turns out to be poor, I will update. For now, it's behaving beautifully.
Overall, if you miss a nice, simple, uncomplicated mouse - start here. Worst case scenario, you can return it. After all, Amazon has been standing behind their stuff for a while now so I'm not afraid to start with theirs and see how well they did. This is another one that didn't disappoint and it cost 50% less than its nearest competitor (at the time I bought it at least).
