The Martin 000-18 Modern Deluxe acoustic guitar stands as a testament to the brand's meticulous craftsmanship and evolution over the years. The 000-18 of today is part of Martin’s Modern Deluxe Series, but this acoustic inherits its lineage from the classic 000-18 model, an emblem of Martin's legacy.
The acoustic guitar’s body features a solid spruce top while its back and sides boast genuine mahogany. Notably, the top wood undergoes the Martin VTS torrefaction process, giving it a seasoned, broken-in sound right out of the box. The body of the 000-18 Modern Deluxe is framed in an East Indian rosewood binding for a unique look.
Central to the 000-18's voice is scalloped X-bracing, a fundamental component that influences the acoustic guitar's resonance and projection. This storied Martin model’s body has also been upgraded with modern appointments like a carbon fiber bridge plate with Liquidmetal bridge pins.
The Martin 000-18 has a vintage deluxe neck shape for maximum comfort up and down the ebony fingerboard’s 20 frets. Enjoy traditional Martin design with a dovetail neck joint, mixed with gold frets and gold open-gear tuners for modern touches.
The Martin 000-18 Modern Deluxe has no electronics and comes in a natural finish with gloss on its mahogany back and sides. This acoustic guitar also comes with a hardshell case and a lifetime warranty.
