Description:
How do Catholic women make sense of their involvement in a church with restrictive gendered roles and responsibilities? Is there a vision for church which might provide Catholic women with a community of hope, justice and flourishing?
Introducing a new methodological approach to studying Catholic women, this open access book provides fresh insights into women's religious and spiritual experiences and church participation. Drawing on a case study of Australian Catholic women, Tracy McEwan develops the notion of "technologies of Catholicism" to explore the ways in which women shape their religious and secular identities against the backdrop of a masculinist Church.
This book is a key resource for those seeking to understand women's struggle to negotiate the impact of Catholicism and its oppressive gendered theologies. It introduces the term "everyday spiritual abuse" to explain the harm Catholic women experience on a day-to-day basis as they negotiate multiple material, spiritual, and structural inequalities. It proposes an alternative feminist model of church, which is contained and produced in the herstories of women.

worked great for national park where traditional sunscreen is not allowed
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
In a national park preserve where some traditional sunscreens are not allowed, this one is allowed as it is "reef safe" without anything other than zinc/titanium dioxide as the active ingredients. Worked fine, rubs in well and doesn't make you look white as a ghost.

Excellent results!
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I was in Thailand for almost 1 month and used this during the hot summer season and I never burned! It does go on very white but that’s a small concession knowing it is not a toxic sunscreen!

Lasts a long time
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
This sunblock lasts a long time and you don’t need to reapply often. The one drawback is it takes a long time to rub in and sometimes stays white on your skin longer than you may want. But it’s amazing sunblock protection and all I use.

Great natural product
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I use this product for surfing and most of the natural sunscreens end up burning my eyes. This one does not run or rub off. After trying a bunch of other brands this has been my go to for the last couple of years.
