Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is a third-person shooter in the open world, representing the cult series launched in 2001. The title was developed and published by Ubisoft company, which oversees the brand.

The action of the game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint takes place in the universe, to which the previous installment of the series took us — Wildlands. However, you are not dealing with a direct continuation, because the title tells a separate story.

During the game, you find the fictional island of Aurora in the Pacific Ocean to explore the mysterious issue of sudden loss of contact with it. After arriving at the place, Nomad, being the main character and a member of the Ghosts, discovers that this piece of land was captured by a mercenary army consisting of former commandos under the command of a Walker (portrayed by Jon Bernthal known for his main role in the Netflix Punisher series). The protagonist's task is to control the situation and find out why the mercenaries have captured the island.

In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, the action was shown from behind the hero (TPP) and from a first person perspective (FPP) when aiming. The authors give us an open world at our disposal, through which we can move on foot or using about thirty different vehicles. What distinguishes this title from the previous parts of the series is the fact that if we decide to play alone, the main character is no longer accompanied by commandos controlled by AI. In addition, you can take care of various side quests and activities.

Developers decided to deepen the gameplay by implementing in their work new mechanics referring to survival games. For example, a system of wounds and injuries was used that affect our hero's combat potential; shot in the knee begins to limp, blinded — suffer from vision problems, while with a damaged chest will cough up blood. All these inconveniences can be cured by various means.

In addition, nothing prevents you to use weapons taken from defeated opponents or hide their bodies. An important novelty is also the possibility of using natural camouflage; the protagonist can stick to mud to blend in with the surroundings and ambush enemies.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
