Domaine Baron Thénard is one of the largest holders of vines in the famed Le Montrachet Grand Cru with two major plots in the southern, Chassagne-Montrachet, section of the climat. Wines from the Clos du Roi are almost exclusively from Pinot Noir and a number of top Burgundy producers have plots here.
