The "Newtone" brand name was used from the 1930s and continued till the late 1940s, during this time a large range of decorative vases was produced in a great variety of shapes and colour. Newtone Art Ware was a brand name used by The Bakewell Pottery, who operated in Sydney from 1884 to 1955.
The quality of the brand is testament to pieces which are still treasured by collectors to this day. A charming and unique collectable piece of Australian history.
