1950年代頃のWEISSのラインストーンイヤリング。

一粒一粒の輝きが美しいエメラルドカットストーン、ラウンドカットストーンが気品あるフォルムでセットされています。ストーンにはオーロラ加工が施され、レモンイエロー、パープル、ブルー、ピンク、オレンジ・・と様々な色の光を放ち、その幻想的な煌めきにひと目で視線を奪われてしまいます。

約70年の時を経ても強く輝き続けるピースに、WEISSのクラフトマンシップと品質の高さを感じる逸品です。

【WEISS(ワイス)とは】
Albert Weissがデザイナーとして在籍していたCoroから独立し、1942年にNYで設立したコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。WEISS本人がデザインを手掛け、制作も自社工場で行われました。WEISSのジュエリーは、オーストリア製の高品質なラインストーンを贅沢に使用した華やかなデザインが特徴。ラインストーンはその色と輝きが最も美しく見えるよう、一石ずつ手作業で爪留めされました。また、WEISSはその絶妙で印象的な色使いから「色の魔術師」と称されました。会社は1971年に閉業しましたが、そのクオリティの高さから現在もなおコレクターを魅了しています。

Can't go wrong with Acorn for as long as they last!

Acorn is just a great company all around. I had bought my husband these slippers over 20 years ago. They are still in great shape although the sole has worn in some places.
