Like all Martins, this D Jr-10E StreetMaster is assembled with absolute precision, and embodies the spirit of the beloved full-sized StreetMaster models from Martin's 15 Series. The retro aesthetic, with an incredible distressed mahogany finish, give it the appearance of a road-worn acoustic guitar— one that feels comfy, just like that old denim jacket, or a used baseball glove.
However, its "worn-in" charm doesn't mean its parts aren't up to par. Underneath that exterior is a solid sapele construction for the back, sides, and top. This small body packs a punch with a full-bodied voice, thick lows, and surprising unplugged volume, all thanks to its scallop-braced hardwood top. It's a real-deal Martin sound in a compact, travel-friendly size.
