Artists Statement:

For Gillie, nothing beats a Dutch coffee. Gillie’s mother comes from Holland and when Gillie was a girl, she would enjoy the soft, fruity aromas that came from her mother’s coffee. When Gillie was finally allowed to drink it as a teenager, she became hooked. Marc, on the other hand, was brought up in Melbourne — a city said to have the best coffee culture in the entire world. In fact, it even has its own coffee expo. After 25 years of marriage, Marc still goes out of his way to buy Gillie a coffee every morning so they can take five to catch up and discuss their plans for the day.
