This used Ampeg SVT-III head with Korg tuner and Road Case is a great option for that gigging bass player on a budget. It delivers 450 watts of sound that is more than sufficient for local shows and carrying it out to venues. The Road Case and Korg DTR-1000 rack tuner are an added bonus for easy transportation and convenience at a show or band practice. The unit also includes a storage tray that's perfect for cables and other accessories. At 8 ohms the SVT-III Pro puts out 275 watts while at 4 ohms the amp produces 450 watts. It's a hybrid style amp that features 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes with a solid-state power amp. Players can fine tune their sound thanks to the SVT's 3-band tone control, 5-postion Mid tone button and a 9-Band Graphic EQ. The amp also features an Ultra Low and High Boost button for added tonal shaping as well as Mute button and FX Loop.
There are scratches and dings all around the Road Case as it appears to be heavily used and toured with. Along the surface of the Korg tuner there are scratches and marks. On the actual face of the SVT-III there are no major scratches or dings and the amp remains in good shape.
