This is it, the solar panel to end the conversation about what is best for a rooftop tent.

Made for expeditions, this panel is made for living off-grid for longer periods of time. With the highest charging rate of the three—it allows enough power to stay away for a while. Easily our favorite, we’ve put it on our Landcruiser 80.

RUGGED TOUGH

Our individual solar cells aren’t made from brittle silicon solar cells, which are prone to micro cracking during transport, install, and long term wear and tear. Micro-cracking can cause shorts within the solar panel itself and can lead to hotspots, burns, and even fires at its worse. That’s not what you would want in a solar panel.

BYPASS DIODES ON EVERY CELL

Bypass diodes on each individual solar cell means we don’t have a shading issue when compared to other panels. In other solar panels, usually if you shade a cell or two in a string, the entire string goes out and doesn’t generate electricity. We don’t have that issue and that’s perfect for being outdoors.

WHY BYPASS DIODES ARE IMPORTANT?

Let’s just say you want to put a kayak on top of your rig. Typically, most competitor panels come with only two bypass diodes that string multiple solar cells. This means if you have shade, debris, or damage on one cell, the entire string of cells will turn off, making the entire module perform badly and possibly become completely useless. Bypass diodes are put in to combat hot spots and keep the electric current flowing optimally. One would think that its logical to add it to every cell but, it is expensive. Many manufacturers opt out of doing it for this very reason. XPLOR panels have bypass diodes on every cell, maximizing its performance and dependability.

25 YEAR WARRANTY

We know that they will last, we even test them out to industry standard of 25 years. But in the off-chance they don’t, we offer a 25 year warranty for power output to give you the peace of mind.

LIGHT AND FLEXIBLE

Our solar cells are made from stainless steel. Not only are they light, they’re also flexible. It’s laminated with industry leading 3M plastics instead of the bulkier solar panels with glass and metal frames. Overland rigs have a ton of heavy parts equipment and accessories. XPLOR solar panels won’t be one of them.

Small and mighty. Good quality.
Color: M01 Black, Color: M01 Black
In the past few years we’ve started buying only whole bean coffee to use in our French press. Given a few blackouts this past winter we thought it might be a good idea to have a manual coffee grinder on hand (instead of having reserve grounds). This compact grinder is good for a serving of two. It reminds me of a peppercorn mill and will fit 3 tablespoons of coffee beans. Overall I’m pleased with this product and would purchase it again. However, in the future I would also consider a larger and more ergonomic mill as I usually make at least 4 cups (4 tablespoons) of coffee at a time. The top can also be a little tricky to remove. PROS: - Grind setting works well - Quality feeling materials - Relatively simple to operate - Cost/value CONS: - May be too small for some - Top may be challenging to remove (e.g. Those with arthritis or difficulty with fine motor movement)

Compact, Quiet, and Great for an Office Coffee Upgrade
Color: M01 Black, Color: M01 Black
I bought this to use with my AeroPress at work, and for the price, it’s been a solid addition. The ceramic conical burr delivers a noticeably better cup than the pre‑ground coffee in the breakroom, and it grinds two scoops in about 15–20 seconds. It’s quiet, compact, and easy to stash with the rest of my setup. A few things to note: • The body can be slippery, and it occasionally twists in my hand when it catches a bean. A wide rubber band around the body of the grinder fixed that issue however. • Grind consistency is decent, not perfect. After three months I’ve found my sweet spot, but it’s not as uniform as my electric burr grinder at home — which is probably an unfair comparison. Expect small adjustments when switching beans as it can affect bitterness. • I wish it could be taken apart for deeper cleaning; the included brush only reaches the underside of the burrs. Maybe that’s overkill, but I’m used to doing it with my home setup. On the upside, it feels well‑built, works reliably, and the large handle knob is great for anyone with limited grip strength. Overall: A dependable, travel‑friendly grinder that delivers good results for the price. I’m happy with it and would recommend it for office or on‑the‑go brewing.

Satisfying and convenient.
Color: M01 Black
I've been drinking powder coffee and drip coffee, and wanted a change. This thing is really satisfying to use (I love the crunch) and clean. It's really sturdy, I've dropped mine once or twice and it's still going. It's small, and easy to adjust, but I mostly just grind it medium. It's utilitarian, but still looks quite pretty. Looks just like the pictures.

I use it everyday and love it
Color: M01 Black
I was worried when I first purchased my mini manual coffee grinder. I was afraid I would not be able to use it due to arthritis in my hands. Well! No worries now. This little guys works great. It grinds fine to course and without undies stress on my hands. Thank you for making such a great grinder for all us nomad folks who enjoy freshly ground coffee in our rigs.

Good for the price, but has its limits
Color: M01 Black
You get what you pay for. Grind consistency is decent, but even the lowest grain setting won't get you close to a true espresso grind — it still produces a coarser result than expected. It's fine if you're using a pressurized portafilter, but not ideal for a bottomless one. Worth considering only if you don't mind spending 15 minutes a day grinding your morning coffee. After a few months, I got tired of the manual process and now just buy pre-ground espresso from a local coffee roastery
