When to Replace

Installation Tips

• Disconnect the power to the range by unplugging the unit or switching off the circuit breaker before beginning service.
• Remove the oven racks to gain clear access to the rear wall of the oven cavity.
• Use a Phillips head screwdriver or a 1/4-inch nut driver to remove the mounting screws securing the probe.
• Gently pull the sensor forward to reveal the wire harness connector; if the connector is not accessible, the rear access panel of the range must be removed.
• Disconnect the old sensor and snap the new connector firmly into place.
• Re-insert the wires and the probe into the mounting hole, ensuring the probe is straight before tightening the screws.
