When Kiefer was a young boy, they would make up stories inspired by Kiefer's country at Loongabid on the Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. This children's picture book is a vibrant mix of colour and emotion and an illustrative debut by young Broome artist, Bronwyn Houston. The images depict the unique mangrove systems, seascapes and colours of the Kimberley.
