John James Dower (1825-1901) was a well respected 19th century British cartographer, publisher and print seller, based in Pentonville, London. He was the heir of another well known cartographer John Crane Dower (1791-1847). Dower cooperated with several London map publishers including Cassell, Bacon, Petermann, and also published maps and prints on his own.
