At the heart of its circuit lies a pair of EL84 power tubes with a EZ81 rectifier, backed by a preamp section loaded with two ECC83s and a phase-splitting third ECC83. The result is touch-sensitive, nuanced gain that transitions organically from chime to crunch depending on how hard the instrument is driven. Unlike some modern reissues that hide behind modeling, this combo commits fully to analog integrity—and rewards the player accordingly.
Dual channels offer flexibility in shaping tone. Channel 1 features a traditional Marshall voicing with tone and volume controls. Channel 2 introduces onboard analog tremolo, complete with dedicated Speed and Intensity knobs, delivering pulsing movement that ranges from subtle sway to full-on modulation.
