The new Ferrea Valve Springs are processed with premium-grade alloy and feature special thermal treatment. Ferrea's advanced spring design and material specs have uniform load and stress distribution even in the most extreme racing conditions. Great for high revving applications. These valvesprings and retainers will reliably allow your engine to rev high without the worry of part failure, valve float, or coil bind. Aftermarket valvesprings are made out of superior metal alloy's and optimized spring rates to make sure your valvetrain can keep up with your cams at high RPM. Whether you are rebuilding your engine, or building an all out race engine, replacing your valvetrain with Ferrea components will allow you to rev higher, and go more aggressive on your cams.

Ferrea is the top of the line when it comes to valves springs and retainers. If you google "Ferrea" you would be hard pressed to find anyone say anything bad about them. They are not the cheapest on the market, but if you want the best, Ferrea is the way to go.

There are 3 Major Issues with stock valvetrain, that can be prevented by using Ferrea Components.

-BIND - They can "bind" and get stuck, losing their ability to open and close the valve. This is an easily diagnosable failure. Depending on how it binds, it could cause failure to other engine parts.

-BREAK - They can "break" into pieces dropping the valve into the combustion chamber and consequently ruining your bottom end.

-FLOAT - "Valve Float" is a hard to diagnose condition where the valve spring rate is not high enough to fully extend the spring and close the valve after a complete rotation of the cam before the cam comes back around again. So what ends up happening is that when the cam is spinning fast (high rpm) the valve never closes, and combustion leaks out of the engine, and the engine loses power.

    Kit Contains :

    - Dual Springs #S10062  (Qty 12)
    - Titanium Retainers #E11039  (Qty 12)
    - Valve Keepers #K10099  (Qty 12)

Our springs are heat-treated and stress relieved, which dramatically increases the spring’s life. Our valve springs provide the stability needed for high lift, high rpm racing engines, while minimizing the load loss for today’s aggressive valvetrain combinations.

We currently offer four different types of retainers to choose from: Titanium, Lightweight Tool Steel, Steel and Aluminum Magnesium retainers, all of which are CNC machined to perfection and offer superior strength and stability.

Ferrea takes great pride in offering premium quality Spring Seat Locators. Fully CNC machining in-house from 4140 chromoly alloy for different applications. Each piece is crafted to exact tolerances OD & ID specs and insure flat, parallel spring pad to the bottom surface. Heat treatment consists of a hard Nitrided surface for unmatched toughness and anti-wear characteristics.

Perfect fit for 2020 Subaru Outback
Fit my 2020 Subaru Outback perfectly. 5-minute install. Works great. My previous cabin filter was scary to see.

    Good, inexpensive replacement filter
I've used these filters for a couple years (four replacements) on my Subaru Crosstrek, and they seem to do the job well, probably as well as the original. I generally remove and clean them every three months, and replace them every six.

Save some money by doing your own cabin filter change! (You won't notice a difference).
So, one day I was getting an oil change at the dealership, and the associate told me that cabin filter was pretty dirty, which I believed because of the places I take the car, and she said that they could change it while they were finishing up the rest of their inspection, since they already had it apart. I asked her "How much?", and then we both had a laugh when she said "$90." I told her I'd take care of it. It took two days for Amazon to get a replacement filter to me, twenty minutes to watch a You Tube video showing how to replace the cabin filter on my car (I watched it twice), and then about twenty-five minutes to replace the filter itself--I keep a messy glove compartment, so a good portion of the time was loading and unloading that nightmare. In the end, under $15 for the filter, maybe 45 minutes to watch and replace, and the cabin filter hasn't been this good since I first bought the car. This replacement version was as good as the OE filter, fit exactly the same, there's no difference in airflow that I can tell, and so far (6 months later), it seems to be holding up pretty well. We'll see what it is like after a year. I did get the oil changed about a week ago, and the technician didn't raise any alarms about the filter, so everything seems to be working. $90 for a new filter? You can do it yourself cheaper.

Fresh Air Upgrade for My 2024 Impreza
Installed this in my 2024 Subaru Impreza, and it fit perfectly—no issues. The air smells noticeably cleaner now, and it took less than 10 minutes to swap out. The carbon and HEPA filtration does a great job clearing out odors, dust, and pollen—definitely an upgrade over the factory filter. The build feels sturdier than the OEM version, though it does have slightly fewer pleats. Might mean it needs replacing a bit sooner, but for the price and performance, I’m fine with that tradeoff. If you’re looking for a quick, affordable way to improve your cabin air, this one’s a solid pick.

    Well built, good fit.
I like it so well, I just bought two more to keep on the shelf for when the price doubles. Seems better built than oem, but I don't know how you can judge the filtration; seems good though.
