黒のベークライトに、たっぷりのブラックビジューが敷き詰められたヴィンテージバングル(開閉式)。

ベークライトとは、1907年にベルギー生まれのアメリカ人化学者Baekelandによって開発された、世界初の人工プラスチックです。

絶縁性・耐熱性に優れていたことから、ラジオの絶縁体やキッチン用品として使用されていましたが、1920年代にはコスチュームジュエリーの素材としても用いられるように。

しかしながら製造過程の危険性と1950年代のルーサイトの台頭により、次第に生産されなくなっていき、1960年代には姿を消しました。

こちらのバングルは、ブラックベークライト×ブラックラインストーンのコンビネーションがエレガントで存在感のあるお品。

ベークライト独特の質感と温かみのある雰囲気を持ちつつ、コーディネートにシックな華やかさを添えてくれます。

現代では作られることのない、希少なオールドプラスチックをお楽しみください。

It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
