MLS gaskets have increased strength because they are comprised of multiple layers of stainless steel; which also creates the ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton (a flour elastomer rubber based material that is heat resistant to 250 C/ 482 F). Viton is designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. Sturdy but stitched weird
This is a sturdy toy with thick fabric. I love the printing and the rope inside. My coonhound destroys anything resembling plush in a heartbeat and this is perfect for her. The weird thing is the stitching. When making something with a pattern, you'd usually turn the outsides to each other, stitch it up, then turn it "inside out" (which is then actually right-side out) and stitch up the last bit after filling or whatever. This was just put together right-side out and stitched, so it looks kind of unfinished. The stitching is solid, no complaints there, but it keeps it from being a great gift, which it could be if it was stitched better. When I looked at the pictures of the different options I noticed some were stitched like mine and some "normally". Weird. Otherwise great.
