A mail box can be not only a simple post box but a masterpiece which decorates your house (yard) and outlines its exterior features.
Here is a hand forged post box decoratively done with vines, ivy leaves and a butterfly. It has a house number on a scroll under the mail box door. There is no lock in it.

The way how it was created: we combine traditional blacksmith techniques, perfected over hundreds of years of experimentation and development , with modern forms and methods to produce beautifully distinct pieces of functional art. Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron is shaped into graceful, flowing forms. In our world of high technology, there is a distinct place for organic forms and hand-wrought metal design elements.

CUSTOMIZATION
Custom orders are welcome (different house number, colour, size, content (by adding additional elements (flowers, birds, other insects ....), lock, latch). I can do the same post box with different sizes and colours (it can be hung on the wall or stand up on its own, either vertical or horizontal). Custom orders are welcome.
Price of the listing includes a house humber which you will submit while paying.

It will be done "to order", please allow 3 weeks for its making.
