A short scale to rule them all, the Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ is a welcomed addition to the Player II Series. Designed to bridge the gap between vintage charm and modern functionality, this Mustang is mighty.

Finished in Aquatone Blue, the offset alder body is comfortable to play thanks to the double-cutaway design, allowing for easy access to the higher frets. Connected by 4-bolts and a neck plate, a maple neck is attached to the body and topped with the celebrated return of slab rosewood to the Player Series. A modern "C" shape neck, rolled fingerboard edges, and 19 medium jumbo frets make playing the shorter 30-inch scale length neck feel effortless. White dot inlays add flair and functionality.

Loaded in the body are new Player Series Alnico V pickups; a single-coil Jazz Bass in the bridge and split single-coil Precision Bass in the middle position. Having the PJ configuration, make this Mustang a tonal chameleon; handling various genres efficiently. Tone can be further refined with the master volume, master tone, and 3-way toggle switch. High quality hardware tie everything together; a 4-saddle standard bridge anchors the strings down for solid intonation while the synthetic bone nut and vintage style tuners help keep tuning stable.

Classic Fender design meets modern innovation with the Player II Mustang Bass PJ.

  • Double-cut offset alder body
  • Short 30" scale length maple neck with rosewood fingerboard
  • Player Series Alnico V pickups in PJ configuration
  • 9.5" fingerboard radius with rolled edges

I have a 1999 Toyota Sienna LE
The starter was an almost an exact fit. The only difference was the rubber cover for the ground screw. The original started has a slight different design. Easy fix was the remove the old one and replaced it on the new starter. The fit was perfect. Used youtube video on starter replacement for my Sienna which was clear and east to follow. Took 2 hours to replace the starter. Waited a few weeks to see ensure the starter was working before I posted a review. The starter sound strong as the engine kicks over. Looks to be working fine. The dealers would have wanted $600 to replace the started. Some online poster says these Amazon knockoff are cheap and won't work. It started and time will tell how long it last. Its a 25 year old car. If I get another year or two use out of it, I'm good.

Almost a perfect fit for 2002 Avalon
The only difference from the old starter to this one is the old hardware had notches for the electrical connection and the old starter had a longer terminal post so I couldn’t swap the hardware successfully. Instead of returning it because I don’t want to walk to work again I decided to grind a notch on the new starter. Lucky for me it worked and I don’t show up with my uniform sweaty in a retail job anymore
