Gemstone StudsOur Gemstone Stud Earrings are designed with a collet setting. Metal is wrapped around natural gemstones then a post is soldered on, made with sterling silver, or sterling + 18K gold plating. Each stone and setting is different and unique, we make the best matches in shape, size, and color. Stones measure about 7 8mm. Collet setting will show light through transparent stones, but this will not show once on the ear. Gold and silver metal will change

Collet setting will show light through transparent stones, but this will not show once on the ear. Gold and silver metal will change the appearance of some stone colors. Silver will make a vibrant coloring, gold will be more muted.
