Lid: Veg-tanned* Italian leather in olive
Snap Closure: German-engineered Fidlock SNAP that utilizes magnetic and mechanical elements to self-align, close almost automatically, and stay closed. Pull down to open (see video).
Hand-set, classic copper rivets
Strap: removable, adjustable mil-spec nylon webbing in tan
Strap buckle: magnetic Fidlock sliding buckle (see video)

*Vegetable tanning is an ancient, time-intensive process that uses tannins like oak bark to preserve the hide’s natural variations. Because it is free from heavy metals and petroleum derivatives, it may darken in the sun and pick up water spots. Bright colors may fade.
