Install a Bigsby B7 Original vibrato on your 335-sized arch-top without drilling, filling, or compromising the guitar's resale value. The Vibramate V7-335 uses your guitar's existing stop-tailpiece mounting studs, so the whole installation is fully reversible — remove it later and the guitar is exactly as it was.

Originally developed for Gibson ES-335 style instruments, the V7-335 now fits a wide range of arch-top guitars from Epiphone, Gretsch, Ibanez, Höfner and others. Two size options cover the vast majority of 335-style bodies.

Which size do I need?

  • E-Series — for guitars with an 8.0" lower bout width (most Gibson ES-335, ES-339, Epiphone Dot)
  • G-Series — for guitars with an 8.5" lower bout width (larger archtops, some Gretsch, certain Ibanez models)

If you're unsure, check the official Vibramate fitment chart before ordering. Measuring your guitar's lower bout width with a tape measure takes 30 seconds and saves an awkward return.

What's in the kit

  • Vibramate V7 mounting plate with felt-padded underside (protects the finish)
  • Felt-padded tailpiece plate that mounts to the strap-pin hole
  • "CUSTOM MADE" nameplate cover with adhesive backing for a classic finished look
  • Both imperial and metric mounting hardware (covers US and Import guitars)

It doesn’t stay in
The pipe keeps coming out. Not worth the money. Not sturdy to hold a top table.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly. Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration. Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
