Cuban Oregano thrives in warm climates with well-draining soil and ample sunlight.

1. Climate: Cuban Oregano prefers hot temperatures but it still can survive drought conditions. They cannot survive when the temperature drops below 40 °F.
2. Light Requirements: It is a sun loving plant that likes to be in sun for more than 6 hours.
3. Watering: Cuban oregano is sensitive to overwatering. Allowing soil to dry out between two waterings will prevent root rot.  
4. Soil: Well-draining sandy soil mix is suitable to grow these plants.
5. Fertilization: Cuban oregano doesn’t need frequent fertilizer application. Applying diluted liquid fertilizer will promote the growth of new leaves. Harvesting the leaves frequently will give a fuller appearance to the plant.
