This project marks a historic reunion between two cultural institutions that helped shape the sound of 90s East Coast rap. Up In D&D delivers a curated collection of legendary tracks and previously unreleased gems from the vaults of D&D Studios, home to some of the most influential records in hip-hop history. Known as the creative sanctuary for artists like DJ Premier, Jay-Z, Nas, KRS-One, and many more, D&D Studios was the beating heart of authentic New York hip-hop. Co-founded by Doug Grama and David Lotwin, D&D Studios continues to honor its legacy while embracing the future.
