ACT's 6-pad, spring-centered race disc features a spring-center to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. Works great for 6 months, then gets dull

Worked very well initially. Easy to charge, no nicking or pulling. But after about 6-7 months it got noticeably less sharp, with only moderate use (once every couple of weeks). Now at about a year out from purchase it’s much harder to get a close trim. Currently debating whether to simply buy a new one of the same version or switch up brands. Bottom line if you want something cheap and dependable for 6 months, go for this. If you want something that lasts longer, maybe opt for a higher price point.

It’s super easy to use, doesn’t pull or irritate my skin, and leaves everything feeling smooth without razor burn.
