This long reach hedge trimmer has proven itself time and time again and has an impressive run time of up to 144 minutes using the recommended AP200 battery. Unlike its HLA66 counter part this has a telescopic handle giving extra length.
With 50cm double sided double edged cutting blade this reaches a full length of between 260-330cm at full length (180cm when folded). The blade is also able to pivot through 115 degrees without the need of additional tools making this ideal to tackle hard to reach places.
The ergonomic design makes this a well balanced machine - the ergo lever design also makes this workable for both right and left-handed users.
The HLA 86 is a professional level machine that can be used in rain and wet conditions - ideal for maintaining tall hedges and shrubs this can also be used to tackle ground cover. Both the professional and keen domestic gardener are sure to love this versatile machine.
Please note the battery and charger is sold separately but can be used on other Stihl cordless garden machinery products meaning the overall cost can be reduced considerably.
