AQ Cutting Mat Required: GO! Cutting Mat, 10 in. x 24 in. (25.4 cm x 61 cm)

How to Die Cut 1" Strips:

  • 1" Strips: Cut 7 1/2" wide strips across the width of fabric to cut seven 1" strips. Position fabric on die so fold of fabric is perpendicular to cutting blades and will roll thru the cutter first. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 33 strips.
  • 1" Squares: Start with 1" strip aligning it across the board with the 90° guide line. Fanfold into 7 1/2" widths. Cut 37 squares across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 1,221 squares.
  • 45° Diamond-1 1/2" Cut Side Edge: Start with a 1" strip. Align your 1" strip across the die board to the right side of the 45° guide line.
  • 30° Diamond-2" Cut Side Edge: Start with a 1" strip. Align your 1" strip across the die board to the right side of the 30° guide line.
  • 60° Diamond-1 1/4" Cut Side Edge: Start with a 1" strip. Align your 1" strip across the die board to the right side of the 60° guide line.

Why Quilters Love the GO! 1" Strip Cutter Die:

  • The smaller the strip, the more difficult it is to cut accurately  and the more strips you need. The GO! Strip Cutter-1" makes it easy to cut miniature quilts, narrow accent borders, narrow sashing, string piecing and more.
  • No sliding rulers! No miscuts! The GO! Strip Cutter-1" includes seven strips that can be a challenge to cut by hand.
  • Idea for scrappy quilts! Easily cut up to 6 layers of scraps or full length fabric on the die to get 21 perfectly cut 1" strips in one pass thru the cutter.
  • GO! Strip Cutter-1" includes 1/4" seam allowances for easy alignment and piecing.
  • Cut perfect 1" strips, then use the angled guide lines to cut squares and diamonds.
  • Die blades are 23" long and are open at both ends to allow cutting of fabric that is still folded as it comes off the bolt.
  • Cut strips out of a variety of fabrics: cotton, batiks, flannel, fleece, Cuddle® fabrics and more!
  • Free pattern downloads available to get you started.

AccuQuilt Benefits:

  • Cut so much more fabric in less time.
  • Get accurate cuts every time -- No slipping rulers or mistakes
  • Easiest to use -- Simply place die on cutter, then fabric and cutting mat on top
  • Save fabric with Two Tone Foam -- Get more out of your fabric by placing it only over the shape you want to cut.
  • Safe to use -- No blades come anywhere near your fingers

Die Tips:

  • With some fabrics, after cutting, a thread or two will remain where die blades meet. Snip threads with scissors.
  • Blades on some dies are positioned at an angle.  Align fabric to edge of shape, not edge of die board.
  • Use good quality fabric to reduce fabric stretch.
  • It's always a good idea to test cut one shape before cutting many shapes to ensure fabric orientation is correct.

Perfect Small-ish Business Bag
Color: Apricot, Size: 14-Inch
I have been on the search for a small business bag, that can go on. top of my luggage as well as look nice in the office and at meetings. That will still hold all of my things while keeping me organized. So what fits, I can put my 12.9" iPad, with case and Magic Keyboard in the spot for a laptop. I can also put my 8x10 spiral bound planner, a notebook, mouse, small cable case, pencil case, water bottle and purse pouch with all my essentials. So my water bottle does not fit inside the side bottle pockets, so I do have to put it inside the bag it's self, but that's a no issue. The shoulder straps seem sturdy enough and the color beige/cream looks nice with my neutral wardrobe. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. We'll see how it travels over the next year as I have quite a bit of traveling and work do to offsite this year. j

Stylish, High-Quality Backpack. A Great Upgrade from My Usual Black Bags!
Color: Pinkish Grey, Size: 14-Inch
I’m really impressed with this backpack. I usually stick to black bags, but I decided to try something different, and I’m so glad I did. The color is beautiful—unique without being too loud—and adds a nice pop. The quality of the material feels top-notch. It’s sturdy yet lightweight, and the stitching and zippers seem very durable. Overall, this backpack feels well thought out in both design and function. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something professional, stylish, and practical.

Gorgeous, but some big downsides
Color: Pink-upgrade, Size: 14 Inch
I wanted to like this bag SO BADLY. I’ve owned other backpacks by this brand and they have never disappointed. This one though, was a close miss. The color is absolutely GORGEOUS and I almost kept it for that reason alone. However, two big things made me return it: 1) The inside is no longer padded. If you had purchased older Golf Supags backpacks, the interior had padding to help the backpack keep its shape and not slouch over on the floor. That’s gone, so this one does flop over a little. But the big deal breaker: 2) holy cannoli, these straps are WAY too long! On the shortest length, the backpack is still hanging almost halfway down my back. It looks weird, but it’s also not ergonomically good for your back. The actual strap part (with padding) is so far back that the thin seatbelt adjustable material is the only thing on my shoulders. Super awkward. I’m not necessarily a small person either, so I shudder to think what this would look like on someone more petite than me.
