Description:
Cortec® CorShield@ VpCI®-368 is a solvent-based ready to spray removable coating that provides multimetal corrosion prevention and has excellent UV resistance and salt-spray resistance. Leaves a firm non tacky wax-like anti rust film. Provides long-term multi-year outdoor protection in harsh conditions with the option for removal at the end of the preservation period.
Packaging:
Available in 11 oz aerosol cans. Sold in a box containing 6 cans. Store indoors and out of direct sunlight at 40-100ºF. Also available in liquid concentrate version as Cortec® VpCI®-368.
How to Use:
Cortec® CorShield® VpCI®-368 comes ready to use. It can be applied over machined, plated or other metal surfaces, or over present coatings/finishes. Shake well before use. Allow 16-24 hours to fully dry. CorShield® VpCI®-368 can be easily removed with alkaline cleaners, such as Cortec® VpCI®-414.
Typical Applications:
It can be used for three main stages of a metal component's life-cycle: layup, transit and storage. Common applications include: pipe coatings, parts storage, underbody coating, wire rope, steel plate, machined parts, and protection of permanent outdoor metal structure components.
