Coach: This contribution covers a crate for 1 dog, plus a slip lead for safe handling to and from the aircraft.

Premium: Travel is better with a friend! This will provide 2 dogs with a safe and comfy flight in a crate, as well as 2 slip leads to ensure safety when boarding and exiting their flight.

First Class: This contribution covers crates and slip leads for 5 dogs and also provides additional support for transport costs! Be a hero and transport this pack of fur buddies to better health and to their future forever home.

The Sad Situation

Several states in the southern U.S. make up over half of the euthanasia rates for pets in the whole country, with Louisiana having the highest rate. Due to lack of resources, including resources for healthcare costs, some shelters will euthanize the pets they cannot take care of properly. If a dog is diagnosed with heartworm disease the chances for them making it to a forever family are slim to none.

Helping healthy and sick pets alike, these particular flights will help save many dogs from being put down due to lack of resources.

Good Flights and Flights to Freedom do good work as they transport animals that are in need of help, get to a shelter that has the resources to care for them, and ultimately help them find their forever home. Whether the pet has a medical need that a shelter can't finance - such as heartworm disease -  or has experienced a natural disaster and needs to be relocated due to safety concerns, these pets get to have the ride of their lives. These flights will ultimately rescue thousands of pets!

Shelter staff and volunteers work hard to ensure that pets are comfortable in their crates and loaded safely onto the plane. They are also there to help offload crates, and get each animal into the new shelter where they will stay until they move to their forever home. Due to the amount of flights that are conducted and the number of animals being transported, supplies are always in need. Just like people, pets can sometimes be anxious before, and during their flight, but when you support a Flight to Freedom and send care items, we can help ensure that they are happy little passengers. Together we can not only rescue furry friends - we can provide a safe and comfortable trip for them too!
