The battery backup UPS (uninterruptible power supply) and power conditioner for the Illumina HiSeq 4000 DNA sequencer provides automatic seamless emergency backup power to the instrument. Plug the battery backup UPS into an available wall socket, then plug the Illumina HiSeq 4000 into one of the available receptacles on the back of the battery backup UPS, turn it on, and forget about it.
If utility power is lost while the Illumina HiSeq 4000 is on and connected to the battery backup UPS, the instrument will continue to operate as if power was never lost until either power is restored or battery power is depleted (whichever occurs first). The built in power conditioning function ensures that voltage sags or surges will not damage the power supply of the attached instrument.

LOVE this book- great for giggles

We checked this book out at the library and my son (4 y/o) instantly loved it. We read it to my daughter (6 y/o) and she loved it too. It’s comical without being too in your face. The drawings are hilarious and you can’t help but love Duck. It’s super simple in terms of plot, but expertly silly. It’s all in the deliver of the reader so make sure you draw attention to the pictures (passage of time, facial reaction, etc), emote, and have fun with it. I would say this is great for children 4-10. And I believe most 7-8 year olds could read independently with relative ease depending on their level.
