Please bring:
• Neutral-colored worsted-weight yarn
• US 6, 7, or 8 needles
• Cable needle (a double-point needle works well)
• Row counter
• Standard tools: scissors, tape measure, tapestry needle, stitch markers
Homework
Swatch 1
• CO 30 stitches
• Knit 4 rows (garter stitch edge)
Then:

Row 1: K10, P2, K6, P2, K10

Row 2: K2, P8, K2, P6, K2, P8, K2
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until you have worked a total of 6 rows.
Swatch 2 (on a separate set of needles and yarn)
• CO 33 stitches
• Knit 4 rows (garter stitch edge)
Then:
