On Now Where Were We, The Exbats hit the ground running like a dystopian garage rock version of the Shangri-Las, or like a message to the future from the pre-Velvet Underground doo-wop wannabe Lou Reed. The album rings bright, like a beacon in the wilderness: eminently, effortlessly catchy, and loaded with buoyant choruses that rank alongside the best chart-toppers launched by the Brill Building or Phil Spector's Wall of Sound. Kenny McClain and his daughter, vocalist and drummer Inez McClain, formed the nucleus of the Exbats over a decade ago, when Inez was just 10 years old; today, Bobby Carlson rounds out the group on bass. Despite their remote location in Bisbee, Arizona, just eleven miles north of the U.S.-Mexican border, the group quickly racked up accolades citing a wealth of influences that run from cartoon quintet the Archies to punk rock originators the Avengers, and from the so-sweet-it-hurts 1910 Fruitgum Company to Los Angeles antiheroes the Weirdos. Truthfully, The Exbats embrace a wider swath of musical styles, incorporating blue-eyed soul, tongue-in-cheek country, Brit pop, psych, and R&B into their sound. The McClains describe this album as "more ambitious" than it's predecessors. They tooled ninety minutes northeast to Tucson to record, per usual, with Matt Rendon at Midtown Island Studios. Months later, the Exbats emerged with an album imbued with harmoniously cautious optimism-the musical equivalent but psychological antithesis to the Brian Wilson-Tony Asher masterpiece "I Just Wasn't Made For These Times." While Wilson was looking for "a place to fit in," The Exbats have found sanctuary via the brilliant "Ghost In The Record Store," which is "for all of us who need the joy of a little bit of plastic making lots of noise." Like the best records to croon along with, Now Where Were We is captivatingly simple, yet hardly simplistic. The Exbats are singing from their hearts-and they aren't afraid to bare their souls.

Weak pole
Color: Cerulean
I don’t think it’s going to hold up to any windy conditions. Moves even in light breeze. Needs a stronger pole for the 10ft size I believe.

Like Holding a Jet Engine
This WORX WG520 12 Amp Turbine 600 Electric Leaf Blower is an excellent, and powerful product that does as advertised and completely blasts away whatever it's pointed at. I got this product mostly to use as a drying aid when washing my cars, but also to just to clear off the backyard patio and blow out the garage occasionally. For this use-case this product has been absolutely stellar. I 3D printed a smaller nozzle that has a more directed, concentrated flow of air for when I'm using this to dry off my car and it has worked much better than the standard long nozzle, I saw some for sale before deciding to DIY with my own 3D printer, and it was a great way to save some money and make this even more effective at car drying. The power this has at full speed is absolutely incredible, it almost feels like it's about to fly away and I have to really clamp down on gripping it. This isn't for the weak of heart, controlling this without banging it against your car will take some time to get used to especially if you aren't a frequent gym goer. This has worked for everything I've needed to use it for and the price was great as well for this level of performance. It may not be as portable as a cordless blower, but it is certainly far more powerful than any cordless blower I've used in the past. The one thing I'll mention is make sure you have a good heavy duty extension cord to power this, 12 awg would be ideal especially if you're using a longer extension cord, you certainly don't want to burn out the motor by starving this thing of power with a 16 awg cord or something like that. Overall, I'm very impressed by this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an insanely powerful blower, this thing is like holding on to a jet engine. 5/5 stars.

Simple, Powerful Blower
Received the blower as expected in a timely manner. Have only used it for one day but pleasantly surprised. It is heavier but easily outperforms my previous corded blower. This is a large, simple, seriously powerful blower. No vacuum attachments, bags, etc. IMO the power is similar to gas powered units. Mine had a variable speed control which is very nice and for the power level it is unexpectedly quiet. Only one possible con to note, it is a 12A motor so a good heavy gauge extension cord is needed, especially for long runs.
