Geographical Handbook Series. - Probably one of the best-researched set of books on Yugoslavia during the turbulent period, covering all aspects of the country under crumbling Nazi occupation, with partisans thriving, civil war and uncertainty of the future. Volume I contains information about physical geography, with a large geological colour-printed geological map (based on Petkovic's 1930/31 survey), followed by essays on the history and administration in the second volume. The last volume is dedicated to the economic geography, ports, transport and communication.
