This SE version of the Silver Sky starts out easily with a carefully contoured double-cutaway poplar body paired with a bolt-on maple neck. A rosewood fingerboard punctuated with PRS's classic Small Birds fret inlays make this SE model an authentically PRS creation – seamlessly playable and aesthetically stylish. Once hooked up, the SE Silver Sky's three single-coil 635JM "S" pickups create a rich gradient of sound that spans sparkling chimes and impressive barks. These pickups, effortlessly versatile and keenly responsive to strumming patterns and picking attack, play powerfully in every realm. Tangibly, the SE Silver Sky handles smoothly. Tonally, it matches that tangible comfort with electronics that are robust and rich for effortless expression. Further PRS features include a two-point steel tremolo bridge and a PRS Silver Sky headstock that is intentionally inverted to ensure solid intonation along with consistent tuning balance and string length.
