Historical background:
The ZTZ-100 main battle tank (fourth generation tank) was officially unveiled for the first time in the 80th anniversary parade of the victory of the Anti Japanese War on September 3, 2025, and is the fourth generation main battle tank of the People's Liberation Army.
The core design consists of an unmanned turret and a front passenger compartment, greatly enhancing the survivability of the crew; Equipped with GL-6 hard kill active protection system, four sided phased array radar, diesel electric hybrid system, with silent driving capability; Positioning is the mobile command node of armored clusters, which can directly coordinate with drones, unmanned vehicles, and robotic wolves for combat.
It is not a traditional third-generation transformation, but an armored platform reconstructed around "information advantage+manned unmanned collaboration", suitable for complex battlefields such as plateaus, cities, and coastal areas.
