Fender's Player Series was designed with functionality in mind, offering affordable guitars with qualities that still set them apart- this Fender Player Series Stratocaster features many aspects traditionally associated with Strats, while boasting a handful of performance features that make it a notable selection for contemporary players, hence its name.

Like many Strats, the Fender Player Series Stratocaster features a body carved from alder, and is finished in a glossy polyester, with a sleek 2-color Sunburst. Its maple neck is carved to a deep "C" neck profile, with curved-shoulders that feel comfortable for most players, and is also finished with satin urethane on the back, providing a smooth surface for hand motion with less friction. The 9.5" radius fingerboard of this Strat features 22 medium jumbo frets with black dot inlays, and is cut from pau ferro that showcases some of the beauty of this wood's grain.

In response to player's preferences, Fender updated this guitar to offer a 2-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles for improved sustain and tuning stability, and Standard Cast/Sealed tuning machines ensure precise tuning as well.

The sonic character of the Fender Player Series Stratocaster is largely driven by three versatile, position specific Player Series Alnico 5 Strat Single-Coil pickups. These pickups deliver the classic spank and sparkle associated with the Stratocaster, and are easily controlled with a 5-position blade pickup switch that easily facilitates different pickup combinations, as well as a master volume, Tone 1 (operating on the neck and middle pickups) and Tone 2 (dedicated to the bridge pickup). Parchment plastic knobs, and a 3-ply parchment pickguard add a finishing touch to this guitar's vintage-inspired aesthetic, in tandem with an updated classic Fender logo.
  • Alder Body with Gloss Polyester Finish
  • Deep "C" Maple Neck with Satin Urethane Back
  • Player Series Alnico 5 Strat Single-Coil Pickups
  • 5-Position Blade Switch for Versatile Tonal Options
  • 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Bent Steel Saddles
  • Modern 22 Frets on a 9.5" Radius Pau Ferro Fingerboard

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
