Maton Guitars EBG808 Artist

The combination of a “AAA” Sitka Spruce soundboard, streaky Ebony fingerboard, Ebony bridge and Blackwood back, sides and neck produces a tone that is rich, full, well balanced and with the rich sweet highs essential to the tone of this fantastic guitar. This Maton EBG is one of the best selling 808 models for a reason!

Built with the touring musician and session player in mind, the 808 body size has been wowing guitar players since 1978. Within it's smaller shape lies a powerful bass response and projecting tone that is sure to surprise even the most seasoned instrumentalists. When built with Maton's proprietary pickup system(AP5 Pro), there is no stopping what many believe to be the most versatile guitar that they've ever played.

The AP5 Pro Pickup System includes a separate microphone and piezo pickup, both of which can be blended via their individual controls. The microphone is direct mounted to the preamp casing via an adjustable arm, which permits easy final tweaking of microphone position to suit the individual artists style.

Semi-tough and inexpensive
Color: Blue
I purchased this watch because I needed one that I could put into harms way without hesitation; I also needed it to survive. Inexpensive and semi-tough. A tall order. So far so good! Bonus points for appearance. Color coordination and it looks pretty good, lightweight and adjustable for the cost of three gallons of gasoline!

Getting more for the price point!
Color: Green
The MDC 12/24 Hour Military Wrist Watch, with Date and Day ostensibly is an homage to the old military issue watches of the WWII era. At this price point my expectations for look, style, performance, durability were not very high. I was pleasantly surprised! The watch comes in a small black slender box within a sleeve, protected by felt cushion cut out in the shape of the watch. Immediately, what I term a "utilitarian elegance" jumped out at me. Very handsome and durable look that hints of delicate handling but is hefty and rugged. It is a minimalist watch with simple but lasting durability and precision. I've worn the watch for over a week, and though this is not a great deal of time nor is this a comprehensive review, I've so far come away with the impression that with the MDC you are getting more than you paid for. Keeps great time and if you should ding it or scratch it, you wont feel guilty considering the price point. In fact, I am so impressed with this time piece that I bought a total of three (one in each color offered).

Comfortable - rugged look.
Color: Black-Green
Comfortable - rugged look. Battery lasted 2 years and 2 months. Did buy again as it was less expensive to buy the watch again than replace battery for me. Actually was $3 less on the 2nd purchase.
