This is a great next-step garment project for advanced beginners who want to build confidence sewing flowy woven fabrics, garment details, facings, hems, and a wearable summer dress from start to finish. You’ll learn how to prepare your pattern, choose fabric, cut accurately, construct the dress, and finish the details neatly so your final garment feels polished, comfortable, and very wearable. The pattern is designed for lightweight woven fabrics like linen, cotton lawn, voile, rayon challis, and other drapey fabrics.

Materials
Provided: Sewing pattern, Sewing machines, basic sewing tools, irons, ironing boards

Needed: fabric for your project. You can choose to purchase materials at checkout (pick your fabrics in the first class) which will be solid color linen / cotton blends. OR if not using our materials kit, you'll need: 3-4 yds of fabric, depending on the size. See the size chart here.
